Your tasks:
- Obtain pricing for key subcontracted components with input from engineering, procurement, and vendors
- Creating high quality, innovative work product that enhances the lives of customers and/or co-workers and vendors
- Remembering and acting with the knowledge that customer satisfaction encompasses both external customers and co-workers and is our highest and most important objective in completing and accomplishing our daily tasks
- Continually looking for ways to identify solutions, enhance quality and create value and then taking action
- Estimate material and fabrication costs based on historical data, sketches, drawings, and vendors
- Understanding and maintaining the highest safety standards per OSHA and industry guidelines
- Create, maintain, and update database of cost estimates and fixed pricing for components and labor
- Gaining trust and respect by working with integrity, openness, honesty, balance, and respecting others
- Maintain and update cost tabulation spreadsheet with current information
- Continually seeking to improve oneself and business practices to facilitate a nimble and creative environment
- Demonstrating a willingness to share ideas, listenattentively, participate actively and work for the mutual benefit of all parties and the goals to be achieved with customers, co-workers and vendors
Your skills:
- Utilizes effective oral and exceptional written communication skills
- Degree in engineering or technical degree required
- Functionalunderstanding of industrial process equipment and instrumentation
- Professional demeanor and approach
- Strong organizational skills
- Air pollution control equipment and/or solids handling equipment experience a plus
